Van Staal Reel Deal:  Check it out !!!!

Happy to be able to offer Narragansett Surfcaster a special price on current Van Staal inventory. You may know the new X-Series will be launching shortly and so the company has asked for our help moving the current models. All Van Stall reels are $550 each for any size or color while supplies last. The bailed version is $600. Please call or stop by and ask for Scott or myself to order the reels you want. I expect we will need to chase some inventory so we might not have a specific reel on a given day; but should within a few days.

Best,

Peter Jenkins

The annual  M/S Surf Club Tournament : Oct 17, 18, 19
Our Club has participated in this tournament for the past 9 years and its one of our favorite events as a group. Again this year we will participate and support the M/S Tournament and its cause with the donation fee. However as a club we have made a decision to not weigh in any fish and avoid the kill part of the Tourney. Two other teams, the Connecticut Surfcasters Club and the Stripped-Bass.Com Team have already committed to doing the same. So we will join them in a conservation effort to avoid killing any more fish.

So we will fish the tourney as a catch and release tourney. Please make plans to attend the breakfast on Sunday at 8:30 at the Andrea Hotel restaurant on Atlantic Ave, Misquamicut - Westerly.

Tourney starts:
Friday @ 6:00 p.m. and ends Sunday 8:00 a.m.. Fishing area is from the Narrow River to Napatree Point

Nominations for Club Officers will be tonight. If you would like to run for a Board position, now is the time.
